Quiet garden with birds and a nice traditional Thai wooden house was in a peaceful area near Koh San Road, close to many small eating places, cafes, and bars by the canals. The rooms were big and clean with old but stylish furniture. WiFi worked well and the neighborhood was quiet yet central in Bangkok.
