Clean room with decent WiFi around 20 Mbps and a small balcony that worked fine for one person were appreciated. The location was vibrant and walkable to MRT Huai Khwang, about 6 minutes away, with easy access to the city via public train. Local Thai and Chinese restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and a local coffee shop with very good coffee were nearby. The host lived next door and communication was possible through text messages.
