The hotel was located right on the river in old town Bangkok with a side view to the river and close to many restaurants, shops, MRT, and river ferries. The room was comfortable and quiet with views over the river where a light show could be watched at night. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating with Pan at the front desk being pleasant, joyful, thoughtful, funny, and giving helpful advice while also assisting in finding a lost passport. Breakfast was served next door by the riverside cafe with options from three breakfast packages including American and Asian which were plentiful and tasty.
